ওয়ারেন্ট অফ প্রিসিডেন্স টা আসলে কি?? আমি আর আপনি যখন আইনের ছাত্র আমরা কেন এটা জানব না?? আসুন তাহলে একটু দেখি সহজ করে জিনিস টা কি ;)

ওয়ারেন্ট অফ প্রিসিডেন্স:মূলত রাস্ট্রীয় বিভিন্ন অনুষ্ঠানে কারা আমন্ত্রন পাবেন এবং তাদের আসন বিন্যাস কি হবে,তারই নির্দেশিকা হল ওয়ারেন্ট অফ প্রিসিডেন্স। এ পদমানক্রম নির্ধারন করা হয়, রাষ্ট্রের গুরুত্বর্পূণ পদ ও কর্মক্ষেত্র বিবেচনায় রেখে।

১৯৭৫ সালে আবদুর রব কমিশনের সুপারিশের ভিত্তিতে প্রথম ওয়ারেন্ট অফ প্রিসিডেন্স প্রণয়ন করা হয়। ১৯৮৬ সালে প্রণীত হয় দেশের ২য় ওয়ারেন্ট অফ প্রিসিডেন্স। সাম্প্রতিক সময়ে প্রজাতন্ত্রের গুরুত্বপূর্ণ পদসমুহের পদমর্যাদা নির্ণয়ে ১৯৮৬ সালে জারি করা পদমর্যাদাক্রম (ওয়ারেন্ট অফ প্রিসিডেন্স) অবৈধ ঘোষণা করে হাইকোর্টের রায়ের বিরুদ্ধে করা আপিল পর্যবেক্ষণ সাপেক্ষে নিষ্পত্তি করেছেন সুপ্রিম কোর্টের আপিল বিভাগ

রাষ্ট্রের গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ব্যক্তিদের পদক্রম (ওয়ারেন্ট অব প্রিসিডেন্স) বিষয়ে করা মামলায় হাইকোর্টের রায়ের বিরুদ্ধে রাষ্ট্রপক্ষের করা আপিল নিষ্পত্তি করে রায় দিয়েছেন সুপ্রিম কোর্টের আপিল বিভাগ । গত ০৬/০১/২০১৫ মঙ্গলবার প্রধান বিচারপতি মো. মোজাম্মেল হোসেনের নেতৃত্বাধীন পাঁচ বিচারপতির বেঞ্চ এ রায় দেন। যার রায়ের কপি প্রকাশিত হয় ২০১৬ সালের নভেম্বর মাসে। এই রায়েই কিন্তু বলা হয় যে, জেলা জজ (সিভিল মামলার ক্ষেত্রে নিম্ন আদালতের সর্বচ্চ বিচারকের পদবি) কে সচিবের সমমান পদ মর্যাদা দিতে হবে ওয়ারেন্ট অফ প্রিসিডেন্সএ। এছাড়াও বলা আছে যে, প্রধান বিচারপতি কে স্পিকারের সহিত অবস্থান দিতে হবে ওয়ারেন্ট অফ প্রিসিডেন্স এর তালিকায় ৩নং এ।

রায় হয়েছে ঠিক ই...।কিন্তু এখনো কাগজে কলমে (গেজেটে) ওয়ারেন্ট অফ প্রিসিডেন্স এর সংশোধিত কপি পাওয়া যায়নি ,...তাই আপাতত পুরান

5. Cabinet Ministers of the Republic, Chief Whip, Deputy Speaker of Jatiya Sangsad, Leader of the Opposition in Jatiya Sangsad;

6.  Persons holding status of a Minister without being members of the cabinet, Members of the cabinet, Mayor of Dhaka;

7.  Ambassadors and High Commissioners

8.  Judges of the Supreme Court (Appellate Division);

9.  Judges of the Supreme Court (High Court Division);

10. Deputy Ministers of the Republic;

11. Persons accorded status of Deputy Ministers, Envoys accredited to Bangladesh;

12. Cabinet Secretary, Principal Secretary to the Government, Chief of Staff of Army, Navy and Air Force;

13. Members of the Jatiya Sangsad;

14. Visiting Ambassadors and High Commissioners not accredited to Bangladesh;

15. Attorney General, Comptroller and Auditor General, Governor of Bangladesh Bank, Ombudsman;

16. Secretaries to the Government,

17. Vice Chancellors of universities,

18. Mayors of municipal corporations

19. Professors of Universities in selection grade, Chairman of state corporations,

20. Registrar of Supreme Court;

21. Joint Secretaries to the Government, Commissioners of Divisions (within their respective charges),

22. Officers of the status of Joint Secretaries of the Government of Bangladesh,
